Welcome (Back) to Redhaven Homestead
If you’re new here—welcome. And if you’ve been following along for a while—thank you for sticking with us. As the seasons shift, we’re feeling called to reintroduce ourselves and share what Redhaven Homestead is all about and what you can expect to find in this space going forward.
Redhaven Homestead is more than just a patch of land tucked away from the noise of the world. It’s our family’s refuge, our learning ground, and a space where we’re growing—in every sense of the word. Here, we raise meat birds, turkeys, goats, and laying hens. We tend to two generous gardens and care for nearly 75 fruit trees and berry bushes. But more than that, this is where we homeschool, homestead, and explore our spirituality—often all at once.
The garden rows, the chicken coop, the quiet moments under the apple trees—all of it offers lessons. Lessons in patience, in surrender, in responsibility, in joy. And we want to share those with you.
On this blog, you’ll find a mix of:
- Homesteading wisdom – from animal care to garden updates and seasonal rhythms
- Family life + homeschooling (often called family led education) insights – the real, sometimes messy beauty of raising and educating kids close to the land
- Personal reflections – the deeper “why” behind what we do here
- Wellness + purpose – woven in through our work at Redhaven Healing and Redhaven Coaching
This space is for kindred spirits—those curious about homesteading, craving more connection with the natural world, or just looking for a slower, more intentional way of living.
We’re so glad you’re here. Let’s grow something beautiful together.
With gratitude,
The Redhaven Family
