About Redhaven

I’m Lindsay, mama to two incredible daughters and wife to my husband, Wade, since 2012. Together with our four legged companions, Luna, Calla, Denali, and BaLou, we share a life on 17 acres by the water in a small town in the beautiful BC. This land holds a special place in our hearts, as it once belonged to my dad. Raising our girls here, growing our food in his soil, feels like the truest kind of coming home.

But the path to this life was not a gentle one.

Before Redhaven, there were seasons that nearly broke me. Infertility. A rare and aggressive cancer diagnosis just weeks after my second daughter was born, one that nearly took my life more than once. The long road of treatment and recovery, and the quiet, invisible struggle of trying to find myself again in the aftermath, all while mothering two little ones through a pandemic.

For a long time, I didn’t recognize the woman looking back at me in the mirror. And slowly, gently, one small choice at a time, I found my way back to her. Through nervous system healing, somatic work, intuitive practice, and a slower life close to the land, I came home to myself.

You can read the full story on the blog, if you’d like to walk it with me.

Through Redhaven Healing, I support mothers in slowing down, reconnecting with their children, and creating calmer, more intentional homes. With nervous system support, slow living rhythms, nourishment, and meaningful daily rituals, mothers move from overwhelm toward steadiness and deeper connection within their families.

For mothers who feel drawn to go deeper, I share what I have learned from this life on the land, and offer gentle guidance for families who are homeschooling or considering that path. Learning here happens under the fruit trees and beside the coop, in the garden and the kitchen, at the pace of real life.

Education has always been a passion of mine. I hold certifications as an Intuitive Energy Healer, Somatic Healing Practitioner, and Spiritual Mentor, and I am always expanding my knowledge in animal husbandry, gardening, companion planting, and making the most of smaller spaces for bigger yields. I bring 20 years of gardening experience, along with nearly 5 years of tree care, berry bush maintenance, companion planting, and animal husbandry. I have done the trial and error, so you don’t have to.

Thank you for being part of our story. Whether you came for the gardening, the homeschooling, the healing, or simply a softer way of living, there is a place for you here. I look forward to connecting and sharing more from our little corner of the world.

With gratitude,

Lindsay
